There has been a recent change in process for the candidates with engineering job who will have to arrange the visa for their families after joining SA.
The iqama aka residence permit must have complete description of the engineering le rather than just "engineer". For example mechanical engineers shall have mechanical engineer written in Arabic on their iqama. Otherwise if the iqama only says "engineer" then the Saudi authorities will reject the family visa application.
Being a recent victim of this change I had to file new iqama application to modify job le, which might result in at least one month delay in family visa process. My better half is not very happy with the situation as it might result the family move to delay until end Jan next year which might have impact on our kids getting admission in good international schools. The admissions open in December/Jan.
I hope this information will help my fellow candidates.

This is going to really anger me if true. I've already sent my Iqama back twice to be corrected. My Iqama does only state Engineer on it... My wife is not going to be happy about this.
