Hi all,
Im shortly moving to Dhahran and will be bringing my dog with me. It appears that my dog will have to fly into Riyadh and will then have to be flown to Dammam - has anyone had experience bringing pets in? I've had a good look at all the regulations and paperwork needed, but if anyone has any pearls of wisdom I'd love to hear them.

In Frequently Asked Questions Discussion Group (as stated read here first) there are several contacts for helping get your dog into KSA. Most come straight into Dammam.
There is also a Facebook page you can find: Pet Imports Saudi Arabia. Joy has all the forms you need and the contacts you need for importing pets to KSA.

Hi All,
I recently moved to Saudi Arabia from Bahrain. I have a pet: female zhu dog. I want to relocate her to Saudi from Bahrain. I submitted all the required documents at ministry of agriculture in dammam to get an import permit about a month ago. Dammam people told me that documents look good and they will send these documents to Riyadh for approval. It's been a month and I have not received any message. Dammam people say that they are trying to contact Riyadh but no response.
Can somebody here who imported his/her pet in Saudi help me to make me understand the process? Is there someone whom I can contact to expedite the process?
This is very urgent.
Please help.
