I know that it is a case by case thing but has anyone gotten through the medical clearance with having some sun spots (basal cell carcinoma) taken off their heads or face? I only ask because I have received my offer and that I am worried that would prevent me from getting the position as that is the only surgery I have ever had. Thanks in advance and there is a ton of great information on this board.

Looking for skin spots is not part of the medical exam. There is a questionnaire that asks some questions but they are pretty general. It should be a non-issue.

Well not a total non-issue, I have to obtain a new detailed oncology report and submit to the medical team. I had the spot removed about 1.5 years ago in Pennsylvania on assignment and since I am back in Texas now that is going to throw a monkey wrench in the situation.

You must have volunteered that information on the questionnaire. Spot checks are not part of the examination.
