o All, Aramco will be coming at Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference in Calgary from October 4 to 6, 2015, and will have its own booth. My question is that if it is worth making a trip down their hoping to get interviewed on the spot.
Any experiences from Forum members?

It may be worth the contacts you could make, getting business cards from those you meet will give you contacts in the company.

If you were a highly qualified chemical engineer attending a chemical engineering conference and saudi aramco is going to have a booth there, I would think whomever we send to that conference will be well connected. Sometimes, we send people who have been given the authority to hire someone provided they have an open requisition. I know we sometimes temporarily delegate VP-level hire/offer authority to Managers and above when they attend employment fairs, etc. I can't really see a downside to going and carrying a few polished resumes to hand out...
