I receive my salary in USD and I transfer it to my canadian TD bank in USD account. i am planning to pruchase a house in canada and my questions is what is the best way to transfer all my USD to CAD, can someone answer my query

A friend used a company called Currency Fair to change a large amount (several hundred thousand dollars) of USD to CAD. He said he saved several percent over what the banks were offering.
You can also ask your bank for a preferred exchange rate - if the amount is large enough, they can usually do something for you.

I am trying to convert large amount of money, so first I will ask bank and will also look into Currency Fair exchange as well
