After long wait I finally got assigned a bachelor unit in DH Camp, Mango Ct area. I have 2 questions:
1. My unit is the typical 2-story unit, with a study adjacent to the entry door ( 1TN1S layout). I do not see any connections for a washer dryer anywhere. Do I have to arrange to have a connection installed, and what is a typical location - in the study or the closet of the study?
2. I walked around a bit, and I noticed there are many bachelor units which appear to be in-use (not vacant) which are, excuse the expression, slovenly in appearance - is this a function of vacations or is it allowed to exist? Ridiculously overgrown yards, piles of junk in front of homes, sidewalks which have been undermined by run-off, severely cracked exterior wood, sheets or towels used as curtains, etc.
Can anybody shed some light on these questions? Thanks.

HI there
Not sure about the placement of the washer/dryer, but it looks like it would go somewhere in the study.
A possible reason for vacant units is that people could be co-habiting. I know of several people, some married, some not, who are living together. Those that are married are here both on single status (ie. the woman is not a dependant) and therefore are each enled to their own residence. They would obviously pick the best house to live in and the other one would be left unoccupied.
