You will need to do a search on "timeline" and read all the many timelines between interview and offer and all other stages of the hiring process. It can be a short time: weeks to months or up to over a year and all in between. All are normal. Once you get an offer, the whole hiring process can be short or long: a month - 3 months or up to over a year and all timelines are normal. Live life as normal. Do not quit your job until Aramco tells you to in writing and your visa is in your passport. Hang ups can occur anywhere along the way.
Patience, patience and more patience is required to come to work for Aramco. You can send an email to your hiring agent every 3 to 4 weeks, but you probably will not get an answer unless they have something to tell you. Normal!

The "timeline thread" referred to is interesting. I agree that there is nothing to be considered normal. I am not aware of any KPI for hiring. Timing depends on way too many things to be predictable. A few years ago there was an incentive for getting here within six months but I think we gave up on that.
Where I work, avee is about a year from start to finish but has been longer due to visa issues with some nationalities. If Aramco is interested in you and makes an offer, they have a world of patience because we all know things just must run their course. Nobody will revoke an offer simply because it is taking too long. We know that getting a replacement will just delay it that much more.
I also think that Ramadan/Eid was somewhere and things move more slowly during that time as many people are on vacation.

From what I have read here and experienced no timeline is set for processing applications. The timeline is governed by a lot of factors - availability of interviewers, availability of senior manager (a Saudi National) who would sign off all offers, etc. I know mine was affected by Ramadan as well.
I attended my first interview in April, 2nd interview in May. I was told on last week of May that an offer is coming but then in June I was told that I have to be interviewed again because the person who made the decision to hire me as resigned. The third interview took place in July and only received an offer this Monday. So as you can see it has taken almost 4 months for me to get an offer.
What I'd advise you is to continue to live your life as if you've never applied to Aramco. I even changed jobs in the middle of the recruitment process. Sadly there is nothing you can do to hasten the process.

The absolute worst thing to do is to quit your job before Aramco tells you to. I even had help in this process and was warned about the extreme patience needed, but I was still surprised by the lengthy process to get hired. I also changed employers during the process to keep income coming in. From my experience and from reading others here, it seems that the avee time to get an offer is about two weeks or up to Insha'... Google that one if you don't know it yet. You'll need to be accustomed to it well. -CT
