Does anyone have experience with deducting Hypo Tax from US Taxes?
I am told that it can be claimed as an expense, because in essence I am forced to pay XXX amount to my employer in order to have a job, similar to if I had to buy FRCs...a required business expense.
I found a good article on the subject but was related to taxes in India, not the US. Anyone tried this before? and if so what form was used, or how did you present the expense?
Did you make that claim with the original filing, or submit an amended return later?
