I have my interview next week in Aramco Overseas Company at London office I am a EU national. And would like to ask following question related to Information Security job role, please help with your experiences you have had so far.
1. Does any one know what salary package Aramco gives to Information Security professional for Information Security yst job roles so that i compare and see how good they offer.
2. Is it possible to get between 12500 to 15000 UDS per month for Information Security job role for EU citizen ? As i have total 10 years of experience in Software Development, DBA, Software testing and Information secuirty. Plus have MSc degree in Inforamtion Security with CISA certification and i am going to appearing for CISM and for SANS InfoSec course.
3. Does the accomodation, childrens school fees, car + fuel, house rent, health insurance provided by Aramco ? as your additional salary apart from base salary ?
4. Does Aramco give on job training and allow attending IT security conferences what take place in USA and in EU countries like DefCon, Black HAT, SANS etc ?
5. Do they have a good working enviroment in IT security department ? and who heads the InfoSec department it is American or Saudis as managers ?
6. What mistakes should i avoid in my interview that you would like to share from your interview job experience ?
7. They ask me to provide three months salary slip, but in Europe they dont ask for your salary slip when you seek new job. Because they gave you salary based on your exp, knowledge and market value. So to me it look bit odd that they ask from last three month salary slip to see and then give something similar salary. Because, the salary i am getting here in Europe cannot be compared with Saudi Arabia because if you get an offer you are going to move from one continent to an another. And your expenses will be much more. One example is if i want to go to InfoSec conference it very cheap and easy to go from one EU state to another EU state or to USA and can go many times. But when you are in Saudia its bit hard as you cannot go very often. Next, if they give offere based on what i am getting today it would not make interest to move Saudia. What is the reason for move your family to Saudi ?
8. Once you are working with InfoSec it is easy to move to diffenent job roles within InfoSec for example if you working in Network Security and want to go to Application Security keeping in mind you have right qualification for the new job role, is that easy ?
9. How is the career path or career road map for IT security job position ?
