Hi Friends,
I am from UK and received an offer two years ago. Before going for the medical test I had withdrawn my offer due to my son's exam in the last minute.
I am ready to join Aramco now. I would appreciate if you could clarify the following items:
1. Do they block list my profile as I rejected their offer earlier? 2. I applied for a very similar role in the their website but no response yet. How long it would take for them to consider my profile if it matches their requirement. 3. How many applications can be submitted to Aramco? Is there any limitation? 4. If same jobs are advertised through their website and by an agent, which is the right path for application? Please note last time I went through agent. They are not responding to my emails because of withdrawn offer last time. 5. Provide suggestion to help entering Aramco please.
I would really appreciate your response.
Thanks, Ponsia

1) no, you are not black listed if you turned down an offer previously, if you were at the offer stage rather than well into the hiring process. If you were well into the hiring process and had accepted the offer and then backed out, it may be a different story.
2) no set time limit, days, months, years.
3). The websites will only allow 3 or 4 resume submissions. So choose wisely.
4). Better to be hired by Aramco rather than a contract company
5) Patience and more patience.

I think the OP meant which of the two is the best: an agency/headhunter that is looking for someone on behalf of Aramco or Aramco itself (assuming that for the particular position Aramco is seeking someone through both a headhunter and its standard online process). In which case (& IMHO), I'd go with the agent as they would be more keen to push for you (provided that you are a good candidate), and additionally they know how things work internally.

Thank you friends for your reply.
I accepted the offer then they carried out verification checks. I had withdrawn before going for final medical test. This is my concern.
With regards to my recent applications, I spoke to London Aramco reprensentative last week. They have mentioned, usually it will reviewed by London representative and further review will be carried out by Saudi Aramco in Saudi. But my application directly went to Saudi and not reviewed by anyone yet in Saudi Aramco. I am not sure about their timeline in reviewing the applications..
Again your valuable suggestions/advise would be highly appreciated.

Do a search for "timeline" on the forum and read for yourself the timelines of each stage of the hiring process. Every timeline is normal.

Hi Vpainter
Suppose a candidate did backed out towards the end of the hiring process due to family reason. How might their story turnout if they reapply?
