Hi there, I am new on this forum. I am offered a job at al hasa JAHA as a physician
I will be coming on a family status, two kids on board 5 year old and one year old
I am hired from Australia.
I have many questions:
Where would I be based in terms of living
Do I have an option when it comes to living location, as I would like my kids to go to the British school, which is highly recommended
I am offered to either live indpendantly, or to live in Armco compound, what is the usual way to start, what is the recommendation
How can western women get together, any social media group to assist making the right move
Is it possible to live in Khabar for example n commute to work at Aramco hospital
Is there any where in the website to talk about al hasa living, as I couldn't find any information, mostly talking about Dhahran
Is there any feedback on al hasa work
I would really appreciate any information/feedback

You would most likely be housed in Udhailiyah if allowed (not sure now due to these new housing restrictions) OR you will find your own housing in Hofuf/Al Hasa area. Maybe Nada compound is one to look at. They have a British curriculum international school there.

If offered Aramco housing, take it. You can always choose later to live off camp.
Inside camp will be easiest for your wife connecting to other women and having activities to participate in.
Once arrived most of the compounds have a ladies private fb page. UmmRiyam, can you answer if this is true for UDH? Requirement for participation is that you live here, so not really possible to be added prior to arrival. She can just ask other women she meets once she has arrived to be added.
