Although this topic has probably been mentioned on here quite a few times, I have a pet to consider too.
I have just accepted an offer from Aramco, and am also in a similar situation to most new starters at the moment with regard to non Aramco housing compounds. My daughter is 8 in August this year so need to find her a school too. We will eventually be in Jazan as that is where I will eventually be based. So until then I am looking for a community/ compound with close by (preferably) British schools, also to add to the mix is our Greyhound. She had a really bad start to her life and was treated appallingly by her trainer. So much so that she still suffers from meeting strangers, and although is 4 1/2 (we have had her for 3) she is as good as she is going to get. Rather than having to put her through the ordeal of rehoming her, we want to bring her with us as she is now firmly part of our family.
For now we are going to be based in Al-Khabor, so any help/advise on what compounds are close by that accept pets and close to schools would be much appreciated.
