I am a US expat almost 5 years with Aramco and always on Bachelor Status. I have always been in Riyadh, where I currently have permanent housing. I am on a +/- six month business assignment working in Dhahran. During this summer's break from school, my wife and 9 yr old daughter are planning to visit me here and I hope to convince them that living in Dhahran is a viable option, as I have the option of relocating to Dhahran (work location) in the near future.
I've heard of house sitting for families away for the summer. How do I find out about opportunities to do this? This would be ideal for the 2-4 weeks they will be here, much better than hotel where I currently stay, and an opportunity to see what Dhahran Camp is like.
I may sound a little clueless, but realize that I am here in KSA, without my family, living in Riyadh where virtually no Aramcon expats live, so I have NO idea how any of the housing issues work here in Dhahran.
I searched the forum and found no information.
