Hi Everyone,

My recruitment agency told few days back that my VISA has been stamped and they have sent a copy of it to Aramco for validation. Today they came back to me stating that Visa category is not appropriate one and Aramco has rejected it and asked them to file it again under different category.

I am confused about VISA category and its impact on work and family.

Will VISA category play a major role in Appraisal, Promotion and grade change?

How to determine which VISA category is apt one for me?

Example: If you are hired by Saudi Aramco as an Engineer, your visa category should be something like "Engineering Professional", or something similar. If they incorrectly assign you to a category like "Medical Professional", that would be an inappropriate classification and would need to be fixed before your employment begins. These mistakes happen occasionally and the delay is unavoidable when these types of mistakes occur.
