Hi there! We just found out that despite assuming we would be assigned to Ras Tanura compound, we will be assigned to Rakah compound while waiting for RT home to open up. This is fine, as we are coming over open minded but we know nothing about Rakah housing!!! My husband is GC13, we have one child-a newborn. Was wondering if anyone can send me a floor plan of what to expect? Are the units apartments? Condos? Houses? Also, will this affect us being able to have access to our large shipment of furniture, personal belongings once it arrives? My husband heard our shipment will go to stoe until we are permanently placed in RT compound??!! Can anyone clarify this? Also, does anyone have experience with temporary housing? I realize it depends on a lot of things, but was the wait months? Years? Thanks!
