Hi, I was wondering if YouTube works in KSA? Or is it banned? Just wondering as I like to watch cooking videos and , cosmetic review videos.

Yes, of course. You will need an internet account with STC/Mobily/Zain. There's a lot of posts about internet routers on here.
But you cannot access YouTube from Aramco computers.

What other mainstream sites should be avoided from Aramco computers?

Any sites that you should not visit are blocked by the company firewall. So it's not so much that you should avoid them, it's that you won't be able to access them even if you try. Many (if not most) social media and video streaming sites are blocked. Also any non-company-provided data stoe sites and internet email sites are blocked (Gmail, Live Mail etc).
Edit: As mentioned by UmmRiyam below, this applies only to work computers, connected to the company network.

Just a clarification...you can access youtube on the Aramco home network, but not on the business network. So at home, you can access youtube without needing to buy any other internet service.
