I'm a new hire with a GC13 to start work in the Jazan refinery by the second half of 2015. I'm an expat currently in the Kingdom, living in the Jeddah area with my wife and a toddler.
I'd like to know information about people working in Jazan. In my case, I have been offered accommodation in Dhahran and would have to commute every week to Jazan, stay there 4 nights and go back to Dhahran for the weekend.
I also have the option to select a rental assistance allowance and arrange the accommodation for myself. Since I'm familiar with the Jeddah area and the commute between Jazan-Jeddah is shorter, I'd prefer to stay around Jeddah.
Does anyone know if there are Aramco flights to commute from Jeddah to Jazan?
Any information regarding the Jazan refinery project is also appreciated. Regards
