Re-Negotiate offer after long process

I would like to know if somebody in this forum have ever tried to re-negotiate their offer after long process of waiting. I could be after a very long process of visa issuance ( more than a year for instance), you get an increase or promotion in your current works, and by this could we try to re-negotiate with Aramco to have an increase or to re-match with your new current salary package?

Due to this loong process, I feel last year offer is becoming less and less attractive compared to what I get now.
