Dear, Really good forum.
Just before joining i got info that my work schedule changed from 5/2 Regular (N1) to restricted: 7/2, 7/2, 7/3 (N1). I am confused what will be the effect on my over time, salary, yearly leaves. Also, i am asian & having low basic. Should i go for camp housing or out of camp.
I am from Pakistan,
pleased if some one can guid me, or send PM.
Thanks all.

I've gain a lot valuable information by going through some of the shared experiences on this forum, however, all of the questions I posted were not answered. I recently got an offer and it stated "Restricted 5/2" work schedule, please what is a "Restricted 5/2" work schedule? I will appreciate any help from someone on the forum. Thank you

There are posts on the local compounds with contact information. Mabidmalik, you will need to contact the individual compounds and find out their rent for the size villa you require.
TigerTiger, there are some questions no one knows the answers to, except Aramco and your department. If someone knows, they answer. I do not know what a Restricted 5/2 work schedule means.
I am sorry I am unable to assist with your questions.

Thank you Vpainter, I was able to find an answer last week. Its meant for employee working in remote areas, they will stay in the camp provided for them near the plant where they are working. They will not be expected to shuttle home daily, but stay in the camp for 5 days and then go back home for two days. This will be the work routine.

Hi TigerTiger yes I have also been told the same regarding the Restricted 5/2 work schedule from my RAA. 5 days at the remote location with accommodation provided close by and then 2 days back at home.

Hi TigerTiger,
Sorry in my earlier post I was meant to type RA (Relocation Adviser) and not RAA.
Yes I have been given RAA Rental Assistance Allowance to support me with costs incurred in renting in the local community (Non ARAMCO compounds). Shame this has been massively reduced as when I was interviewed I was told it would be 225,000 SAR (family with 2 kids) in my case and now its 3X my base pay which is a lot less than what was originally offered.
I'm looking to get a Villa close to one of the British schools in Al-Khobar or Dammam. Let me know how you get on with renting. Are you moving with family or on single (Bachelor) status?

Hi Izzy...I saw in one of the documents that the RAA is uncapped, meaning if your family of 4 is more than the 3x of basic salary, then you will be assigned the higher of the two. 🙂

Hi NeelRup, thats not what i've been told by my Relocation Adviser (RA). I will get a maximum of 3X my base pay as RAA plus an additional 5000 SAR (1333 USD) per child (upto a maximum of 3 children). This figure is per annum. Be careful with info which is circulating on this forum and internet as the changes is RAA are now applicable to new starts from I believe August 2017.
