o all My husband has applied for a few jobs at Aramco direct website, but did not get contacted yet for any open positions. Today he got an email from a consultant that they found his resume suitable for a position and would like to forward his resume to their contractor and if he gets short listed, there will be an interview by end of March in Houston. The email said," Candidates are interviewing for a one year renewable contract to work at Saudi Aramco" I need to know the difference between these jobs through contractors and Direct Aramco Hiring? Does the contract gets renewed easily after a year? Benefits and salary is same or not if you get hired directly by Aramco? Email said after 3 months of probation period, the candidate can appky for family'svisa etc Is it a good idea to atleast go for the interview and tell them we are interested in permenant position only? Please let me know if any of you have any information?

I could be wrong, but from your description, it sounds like you're being recruited for a contractor's position working at Saudi Aramco. Very different than working directly for Saudi Aramco. You should verify if you will be working for a contractor, or will your employer be Saudi Aramco.
