yes, if you don't have any in your home when you move in, then you can request some to be installed.

It's not quite as simple as that. I have an "American style" 220v outlet in my livingroom. I requested two 220v outlets in the kitchen but obviously there is more to it than just changing the face plate, the wiring also has to be changed. I was told a survey needs to be carried out then engineering need to be involved. Nearly four months later and I am still waiting the survey
