Hi all
Please let me know what is a turn around time for visa stamping at ottawa. ASC has applied for Visa for my family on Jan 15/2015.Still there is no news from ASC. Is it normal 3 - 6 weeks. Anybody recently from canada got their visa stamp. Thanks in advance

Visas can take 3 - 6 weeks or months. All timelines are normal.
Sorry, I know that is not what you want to hear.

I just recieved a call from RA stating that visa has been stamped. She is putting up the final package in mail arly next week. Thus Visa stamping actually took allmost 4 weeks . Jan 15 to Feb 12, 2015. I just enquire about the delay. She said that it was due to Visa Block and Job tle and degree qualification did not match. Embassy requested additt paper work from ASC

I thought 4 weeks is normal time. Mine was sent on 1/15 as well and as of yesterday 2/12 still waiting. RA said it's a good thing not to hear anything (not asking for additional documentation). So I don't think 4 weeks is "considered delayed". Besides the Ottawa Embassy was off quite long from last December through 1/15 this year and there must be a lot of applications come in.

Any Canadian who has applied recently in Ottawa got any update on visa stamping?
Its been couple of weeks for me.
Should I contact RA for an update? Not sure if there any visa block delays etc.

Passport sent on 1/15 and returned to Houston ASC on 2/19/2015. The stamp was on 1/28 so quite a bit delay. It seems some applicants sent two weeks after get their back the same time. Wonder the Ottawa may just stamp and mail the lot at the same time later. Glad the final step is completed and look forward to meet fellows there.

My and my families visa was applied to Saudi Embassy in Ottawa on February 23, 2015 and ASC received them back stamped on March 6,2015 so got the visa in less then 2 weeks.
