Hi All,
Ill be arriving in Ras Tanura and Im going to be housed in the studio apartment (1bedroom). I'd like to see the floor plan of the apartment housing there and maybe some pics of the outside and inside of the apartment.
It would be great if you can also share some pics of the furniture that Aramco will provide in the apartment.
Will they provide twin bed part of the furniture or a queen bed. I plan to bring my own covers and sheet and need to know the size of bed that they provide.
I would appreciate any info you may have.
Thanks.

Hi All,
I'm a newbie here. I've been following this forum for year or so. I was offered by Aramco to be based in Ras Tanura (negotiation in progress) and was told by RA that there is no accommodation (off-compound) in Ras Tanura, and accordingly was advised to live in Al Khobar. Could any of forum member advise me what is it the situation in Ras Tanura. Is it practicable to commute daily basis from Al Khobar to Ras Tanura? Do Aramco provide shuttle bus for its employee from Al Khobar to Ras Tanura for office working hour?
I would be also appreciated if any information related to accommodation rate off compound with family status (my wife and I) around the area?
Thank you

Yes, there is a daily bus from Munirah (within camp) to Ras Tanura. I believe the bus leaves around 6 AM and returns back to Munirah by 4:30 PM. I have some friends who take the bus VS commuting everyday.
Also, to be specific, if you drive your own vehicle on the highway to Ras Tanura (RT), either a rental or your own, you technically need permission and approval.

Thank you for the information StarboyX.Is it possible to hop on the bus before entering highway or outside the camp? I will be living outside the camp. Any forumers who might be having the same experience or happening to know the scheme would really be appreciated for the advice.

Is it possible to receive pictures or floor plans of the munirah bachelor housing? My husband is expected to leave for KSA end of this month. Also are these shared studios or individual studios. And Any particular items that are an absolute must to bring while residing in Munirah?
Thank you!

They're individual, and bring 110 220 adapters. The rooms are 1970s style dorm. Nothing fancy and does the job, however, some are moving straight into camp upon arrival. Depends on GC and payroll.

Does anyone have copies of floor plans on camp in Dhahran for a family of 4? Thank you ahead of time. Also, what 110/220 adapters have worked well for folks?
