One of the little electronic gadgets that I couldn't live without here is our internet powerline adapter set. IMHO, it's better than running a cord through your house from where the router is installed by IT, and the family room where your TV is. With so many people using Netflix and Amazon Instant Video services through their smart TV's, Roku's, etc. these devices run your internet signal through the powerline of the home to where your TV is. I have the small one at our main Fiber box in the gae, and the 4 port adapter under my TV where our Smart TV, Roku, X-Box and Tuner are, all of which have an Ethernet port. So it allows us to run an ethernet signal, fast and encrypted, through the powerlines of the house. I'm in an Adobe and it works great in our house. Not sure about other housing layouts. That's what we use to distribute the internet signal through the house rather than running a cord through the house as some have mentioned they do in their Aramco houses. Check out Amazon and search under "internet powerline adapter" under electronics or computer accessories. This is the kit we currently use: www.amazon.com/ACTIONTEC-Powerli ... ne+adapter
