I've read that some people work for Aramco in Riyadh. Do contract advisors ever work in Riyadh or do contracts advisors mainly work in the other locations? Please excuse my ignorance on this subject.

There is an Aramco refinery in Riyadh, as well as people working with the Oil Ministry. But I believe the vast majority of contract advisors work in Aramco headquarters in Dhahran.
