Hi All
I have been offered a job as Aramco (Power System Engineer). Working location is Dhahran. The offer doesn't indicate any compound where we will be based. I spoke to the HR lady and she said that the accommodation will be sorted out later.
We are a family of 3 (myself, wife and my 3 years old daughter). The offer does state a house/apartment of 2 rooms but that is all. I am not sure how accommodation is assigned. Any ideas at this stage would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
A Khan

Adeel,
If you do a bit of reading of recent messages, you will quickly see that what your HR advisor told you is true (and the only thing she can tell you). You will find out where Aramco will put you on arrival a week or two before your flight.
Housing here is tight - incredibly tight. Most (but not all) new arrivals are placed in one of the local compounds on arrival. If you are coming on US dollar payroll, you will be placed on a list to be moved to Dhahran when housing becomes available (because Americans on the local compounds cost Aramco a lot for covering tax liabilities for Americans living outside Aramco-owned compounds). Right now, I believe that most new arrivals are going to Radium, but know of other arrivals going to Rakah and to Dhahran Towers.

Right now, for work location Dhahran, US payroll are being placed in Rakkah, Global Payroll in Radium. Dh tower is full as the other compounds.
