Thank you moderators for this very useful forum. I have been benefitting out of it throughout the hiring process. Hats off to u guys !!
Well, I have a unique case. Will be grateful if someone can answer. On 4th of March, I received my first job offer in GC-12 but on single status and have been told that as I have 5 kids thats why I cannot be offered family status. However, after long negotiations and several emails through my recruiter, on 26th June, I was offered family status on a condition that I must reside 'out of camp'. That was accepted by me.
The hiring process takes too long and finally now I have received my visa and have been told to resign from my current employer. As explained to me that I have to go first and after receiving my Iqama, I can apply for family visas. The process can take 2-4 months.
Delimma starts here, now we are expecting another baby by end of April. My question is that what are the possibilities that Aramco will keep my family status even after the new born. As it seems very difficult now to expedite things and relocate family early.

If you are living off camp already, in my very unofficial opinion, then you could retain family status. You should notify your recruiter of the new baby coming to make sure you do not arrive and then have problems. Any number of children over 4 requires an exception.

I am not sure if there is anyone on the forum with over 4 kids living off camp. I hope someone can help you.

Are your children still eligible to attend Aramco schools? I thought off-camp employees lost that benefit, no? Even if you could still attend Aramco schools, transportation isn't likely provided.
Just curious.

bamaster: Yes, being off camp, have to sacrifice the benefit of Aramco Schools, though Aramco pays tuition fees of other schools too.
