Hi everyone,
Thank you for reading this post. I have applied for a role in Aramco. And I got a few questions which I need answers before I go any further. I hope someone can provide some advice.
1) Is it safe for my wife to go to the mall by herself? Also are there any regular daily shopping trip amount the wives?
2) I understand that my passport will be kept by the sponsor (Aramco), anyone had problem asking for approval to go on holiday aboard? Also I like to travel to some neighbouring countries in the weekend sometimes. Is this possible?
3) There is a global shortage in the skills for my occupation. I understand if I want to leave one day, the sponsor can refuse my permission to leave, until they find a replacement. Has this happened to anyone before? Or can I just ask for 4 weeks notice and leave like here in the UK, if I work for Aramco?
4) I understand that there are some company buses, which take us to and from work, compound and the mall. Does these buses also run during the weekend and after working hours? I am not going to drive, after hearing so many horror stories online. If there isn't any buses, how long does it take to call for a driver? Do I need to call them a day in advance?
5) I have watched one of the promo video where one of the family claimed that the husband get home at 4:30pm every day. Is this quite common?
