Hi There,
My husband got a job with Aramco, his grade is 13 and position location is Dhahran. We are family of 4. what are the housing availabilities at Dhahran right now? Can we get some pictures of the inside of the house? Thank you very much!

Most US persons are being sent to Rakah and then are immediately put on the bid list for Dhahran housing. I spoke with housing today and they didn't think it would take as long as a year for us to move to main camp(Dhahran).

What would the chances for Canadian GC 13 look like to move to DH from radium? (family of 5)

As long you can get into the bidding list, two years after arrival, you bid for a house in Main camp and you might get it really soon. GC13 receive more points than lower GCs which increases your chances, also the size of your family will help you. For non us-passport holders the timeline to get in the bidding list for Dhahran is 2+years

Those we know who have recently moved or are about to move Dhahran from Rakah have been here just over a year and have 2 to 3 kids.
My take from a conversation with housing was that more homes are coming available now than have been in recent months and that is expected to continue.

I have been offered Leased Residence by ARAMCO in my offer letter. Does this means that I would be able for housing bid process after two years of service?
Please clarify.

Yes, unless the bidding policy changes, you would be eligible to bid after 2 years. Although, getting on the bid list does not guarantee you a house. Bidding is by a points system. If people with more points bid on the same house you do, they would win the bid.
