I am reparing the BI and documentations and ran into the police reports requirement. Any of you going through this can share the timeframe on how long it takes to get these reports? For the Canadian one do I have to be physically in Canada to apply for it? Thanks

My wife and I went to a local police station close to home here in Calgary, filled out the application, paid the fees and provided a return mailing address. We received the envelope with the police reports in the mail after 2 weeks. You better call the police station and ask if you need to be physically here to apply for it.

Thanks Dave for the post. I thought I want to share with fellow Canadians living outside of Canada. For the Criminal Record Check you don't need to travel back to Canada to apply for it. There is a 3rd party company can digitize the fingerprint and apply for you. The report will be sent to your address directly by RCMP. They charge $125 for it but it's worth it.
