o,
Thank you so much for this forum it's been a great help for my husband and i. Our RA is usually very helpful and respond to our questions. We did our orientation and visa medical in Houston Sept 2nd. Last time we received an update from her was Oct 2nd regarding the degree attestation that wasn't clear enough so we send back to her several times emails and phone calls but she never responded. Last week my husband cc another ASC employee so our RA replied in seconds to this email with will update you tomorrow. now it's been a week and she never did. we are a little bit worried maybe we didn't pass the medical or BI maybe something is wrong. there is also some expenses that she said will be deposited in our account a month ago but never did we know she is busy with lots of candidates. So what do you think we should do now. Thank you.

If you are reading on the forum, you will note this is a normal occurence and nothing to be concerned about. RA's are working with many people and they usually do not respond until they have something to tell you. Even though they hope it will be tomorrow, things here take time. There are only 4 working days that line up with KSA, so things do not happen fast on a regular basis.
Please do a search on the forum for Timeline. You will read current and past new hires' timelines for every stage of the hiring process.
Please use the search feature to find out information prior to posting. Many topics have already been answered and other than housing and payroll, many do not change.

I don't know your situation, but I've found that limiting my communications with my relo adviser to a short but positive inquiry every other week gets a brief but quick reply and has kept the relationship positive.
My take away from meeting them at orientation in Houston was that everyone seamed quite gracious.

We were doing that only contact her for inquiry and always got a reply fairly quick. We are not requesting an update we know it takes time just some questions and concerns. She is a very nice lady and we know she is busy.

Just wanted to share my experience on this topic:
RA was not responding or returning my calls. I finally contacted the Recruiter who was initially handling my case. Got a response with in 30 minutes and she got me in touch with the right RA. Apparently my first RA was assigned to me in error. May be that was the reason she was not responding at all.
