o, everyone!
This is my first post ever and i really appreciate for this forum and all of you to give me tonnes of invaluable informations to prepare the application to Saudi Aramco.
Fortunately, i've accepted the offer last September. as an engineering specialist. I'll work at Dhahran. BTW, i am a Korean (of course, global payroll)
I am currently preparing many documents works for BI, PPHQ, etc.
But the problem is that my relocation advisor (actually the recruitment agency in Korea) has told me that I cannot bring my family with me when i come into Saudi Arabia. This was a big shock to me because i did not think about this situation never. I have two kids and they are too young (4 and 1) to arrive into Saudi without Dad.
I researched this forum and found that there are many cases that the candidates brought their family with them until a recent date. So, i requested my relo. advisor to clarify this things and there was an relpy email like this:
Before we have an agreement with Ministry of Internal the dependents arrive with visit visa then they change it to resident visa. But this days, they are pending to change the visit visa to resident visa. It is still under review with Ministry of Internal to reactivate that action.
The passport office cannot change the visit visa to resident visa. The candidate cannot bring his family on the same day. But when he arrived and get his Iqama, he can request visa for his family and he will get it soon.
I could not understand this answer as many people is still coming into Saudi with his family as far as i understand... So, i really really appreciate if someone in this forum could clarify this matter...
Thanks in advance.
he younger girl is so young i am afraid if my wife could bring two kids alone.
