Greetings - I have just received a request from my RA to attest my degree. Let me add that both of my degrees were earned in the U.S. I also hold a U.S. passport. I have read several postings about degree attestation, but most appear to be related to degrees earned overseas and requiring translation from a foreign to english language. Can anyone please confirm this attestation process is also true for U.S. candidates who have studied in the States?

Your degree will be verified during the Background Investigation. I was required to have my university directly send ASC a copy of my transcript. For engineers, it is a little different since you're required to register with the engineering society over here before you get an Iqama. Either way, if you have a degree listed on your Aramco application, you should be prepared to submit documentation.

Bamaster,
Thank you for your comment.
The issue has now been resolved. It would appear the request was made in an error. I do NOT have to get my degrees attested. However, I do have to submit official transcripts.

Ah, perhaps I misunderstand what it means to have a degree attested. I assumed an official transcript WAS having your degree attested. I had to have the university send the transcript directly to the ASC recruiter, i could not supply it. That was all I had to do... I'm from the US, non engineer.
Sorry for the confusion
