Dear All, I have a last minute question before i fly out on friday, I have 2 British Passports, as many of you might be aware that we can hold two valid passports if travel frequently. I need to know if i will be alright to carry two valid passports ( 1 with KSA visa) while other have valid visa's for other countries. I will enter and exit with same passport but just have to carry other as i have no where to leave it in UK.
Thanks & Regards

I would keep the other one in a suitcase or handbag as it would be difficult for you to explain that Britian is the only country that allows you to have two valid passports at the same time.

space99, Good advice - countries in general do not like to find a second passport on you, regardless of reasons. But no - Britain is not the only country to issue second passports. I have had a second passport from the US a couple of times for different reasons. But the passport office always suggested that I should only travel with a single passport at a time - kind of tough for us when living overseas though. Other than the issuing country, you should not enter with one passport and exit with another & I'm not to sure about checking out of one country at the start of the trip showing the airline one passport and arriving at your destination showing another. I imagine that it could look suspicious to surveillance folks. Just my two cents - not based on experience.

I wouldn't worry about it - stick it in a trouser pocket and no one will even check. They probably won't even check your bags other than if something looks suspicious (i.e. bottle, banned products) when it passes through the X-ray machine

I think so long as the explanation is reasonable you should be fine. For example I have dual nationality uk/us. When travelling to us I show my American passport, as by law U.S. citizen must be admitted with their U.S. passport. When Returning home to the uk entry is sought with the uk passport. I was asked once why the 2pps and the official was satisfied with the explanation.
Uk isn't the only country allowing its citizens to apply for a 2nd passport. It is a frequent occurrence for frequent overseas travellers.

Meltboy, I will be going for a interview in the next week or so in London. I also have US and a UK passport but live in the UK which passport is best to give HR.
