Hi. I was wondering if there were any people on the forum who 1) have a projector installed in their house, and 2) would be willing to share information on how one goes about getting that done.
I have a Samsung LP-Z3000 HD projector that I would like to mount to my ceiling. I'd also like to remove one of the chandeliers to do so, and put an AC out in it's place.
I also would like to know what kind of projector screens people have, and where I can get one. Right now, I have 120 inch diagonal, but I have space to get at least 180.

You can get a carpenter to attach your projector to the ceiling. If it is in the living room on one of the 4 Aramco compounds there are no chandeliers in the living room where you would probably put your projector.

Hi vpainter, many houses in RT do have chandeliers in the living rooms.

aerternum8, My friends wrote me back instead of to you.
They said their projector was sitting on a shelf not on the ceiling.
Also, they looked for a long time for a projector screen and could not find one here. They ended up stumbling on one in the souq area in an old camera shop about 5 years ago. Someone had ordered the screen and not ever picked it up. It was just lying diagonally on the floor in the shop in its box so it would fit in the small shop and he tripped over it. He asked about it and they sold it to him.

Ah, I see. Well, I'll try to get the screen and mount in the US. Perhaps someone knows a good carpenter in the area for when I do get them.

Lots of people use carpenters. Just ask around when you are ready.
