Hi All,
I have received an email from the recruiting department to submit NOC so they can proceed with my interview. Please note that I am currently working in Saudia.
I just wanted to know what is the time period for the recruiter to arrange for an interview. 1 week , 2 weeks or even more. Is it fine to follow up with them to whatever they have committed or wait for their response.

I am same like you and below is my timeline
email for interview invetation on 09 April 2014
Intetview on 21 April 2014
email from AOC about receiving positive feedback and asked for paystubs 23 April 2014
Phone call from Aramco HR Dhahran asking for NOC TO EXTEND offer on 21 May 2014
NOC letter submitted on 23 May 2014
Offer on 03 June 2014
Revised offer on 17 June 2014
Cleared medical and BI ON 24 July 2014
Waiting for demand letter
as you see things are taking time

Yeah, I have gone through the NOC section and that really helped. In the mean time requested a NOC sample from Aramco HR. So far have only submitted a Letter of Intent for NOC from my current employer.
Saudi Companies are not keen to let go off their employees. I am on a HOT-SEAT now.
So still waiting for my interview to go through. It has been re-schedule more than 3 times now. HR asked for my availability for today and tomorrow. Still no response.
Waiting to hear some good news soon.

The good news is I have been interviewed on 4th Nov and got selected on the 10th of Nov.
The waiting period for me to get from the initial interview request to being interviewed was two months. I was constantly in touch with the Recruiter and he was very professional to keep me updated. The delay was mainly due to non availability of panel to interview all selected candidates.
Will keep posting my updates.

Can someone please verify that the rules of hiring expats have been changed. They will do BI first and once cleared will the candidate receive an offer from ARAMCO.
