How has everyone else's experience with their AOC been? They are always unobtainable, never returns my calls or replies to emails. Quite frankly it almost seems as of they are deterring working there. Background investigation is now in its 3rd month with no updates as to what the delays are. Please help.

Not hearing from recruiters whether at AOC or ASC is normal. Many do not respond until there is something to tell you. They are very busy processing hundreds of new hires each year. They cannot give out information they do not have, when the information comes from Aramco in KSA and from the KSA government.
You will need patience if you want to come to work for Aramco. This is not a company in your country and your expections for what is professional behavior, regarding responding to you, is not what the norm is here.
Please do a search on the forum for timeline and read the many current and past posts on the length of time between each stage of the hiring process. All lengths of time are normal.

Nonkers,
I agree it can be frustrating but I guess if each relo is dealing with dozens (or more!?) of new recruits at a time it would be impossible for them to respond to each email query.
My experience is that my relo doesn't reply to email queries so now I don't bother. However I have always been able to speak to her on the phone.
My advice is to just go with the Aramco-flow and use this forum for any queries. I'll admit I feel unprepared for the move and there will probably be a mad last-minute rush to sort out all my affairs before we leave for KSA.
In fact I've already been caught out - my relo has asked that I send our passports to Harley in London. I wasn't expecting this so soon and I hadn't yet gotten round to renewing my youngest son's passport which has just expired. So now I have to keep my fingers crossed the renewal doesn't take too long getting processed.
Cheers, W
