Hi there, Let me start qith saying how much this group has helped me navigation this whole process. I am very greatful for everyone (especially vpainter). We've just received our passports stamped and working with relocation advisor about dates.
We'd like to arrive before the weekend so we can recoup from the travel a bit before starting the week.
But, I wanted to check when the paycheck cut off is.
I'm thinking to leave US on a Monday or tuesday. Any suggestions?
Thank you again.

It takes 2 days from the U.S. the weekend is Friday and Saay, if you are wanting to arrive with the weekend to recover, arrive on Thursday night. Arrive on Wednesday night, you could possibly get your Aramco ID on Thursday. You will receive a temporary ID at the airport.

You are on Aramco payroll at the time you enter the plane to travel to KSA. The day you arrive is a non-working day, and you get an additional resting day. I traveled on June 29th and the additional end of June days were paid with my July salary. I landed at 1 am in Dammam on a Monday (arrival day), and I started to work on Wednesday.

Thank you all for your help. We've just received our e-tickets for Mon. Sept. 22th, well be landing in Dammam around 2:45 am on Wednesday morning.
atactic, thanks for the update, I was a bit worried about arriving this early in the morning and going to work later.
"The day you arrive is a non-working day, and you get an additional resting day."
Do you think this depends on the group or department or is this a company wide policy? I'll be in the IT department.
Thanks

fsaeed81,
Dear friend, May I ask for which IT position you have applied for and where your work location will be? I have also applied for a network engineer position and I will be working in Abqaiq.
