New visa le recipients, where will you be living??

Hi WOVers!
I received final clearance last week, but have requested a departure in November. (Can you believe it? I've been waiting for 14 months, but due to a financial/legal issue I need to stay stateside a little longer. Ugh!)
After being a consultant in DH for 18 months living at Steineke Hall - the hotel on camp, I'm excited to be in ANY type of housing with a kitchen and the ability to do my own laundry! Lucky for me (and this is pretty much the only time it is an advantage), I'm a single female so I'm guaranteed housing on DH.

From what I remember people saying, most families prefer DH, then Rakkah, then DT. If you really love the beach, perhaps RT, but that is a long commute. ABQ is usually last on anyone's list, but things may have changed.

There is good and bad with every compound. For example, the furniture on DH is 1970s hideous - but you're on the main camp. RK apartments are huge and nicely furnished, but there is no school there.
In the end, we will all adapt, learn from whatever life has thrown at us, and enjoy the perks and privilege of working for SA. As the saying goes, "expect the best, prepare for the worst, take whatever comes"

Any further update on availability. I am thinking of arriving around Mid Nov. CG14 from UK with wife and 2 kids. Where could I possibly be placed?
