Thanks, stmayo11 and vpainter, I guess the timing of K3 offering in the DHA SAES is still very uncertain as I have read posts in different parts of the forum ......... back to 2013 about introducing the K3 programme.
A more logistical question if anyone can share their insight, if you are assigned accommodation outside of the main camp, is it really feasibly to get a 3/4 year old commute to the camp everyday or is it common practice to drive, the main challenge being women are not allowed to drive and my 2 year old will end up being having to endure the daily commuting. Thanks.

Sorry, just to clarify, when I said "commute" I mean via shuttle buses between compounds... Thanks!

If you are assigned Rakah, there is a preK 3 and 4 inside the camp.

I live outside of main camp, and it's totally feasible to take a 3 or 4 year old into camp every weekday. Parents do this all the time, even with younger kids. Things that happen on-camp don't always have start and end times that mesh optimally with the bus schedule, naturally, but those buses are full of small children. Mine are usually headed to the library for storytime, some are going to nursery, some are going to the playground, etc. \
Also, there's a scheduled bus for the K4 kids, so parent's aren't on their own for transport.
