Arrived on Dhahran camp a week ago from Oklahoma. All is well and very peaceful.
Made it to SACO yesterday to purchase a gas grill (BBQ) and now in need of a bottle of propane. I searched the forum and saw reference to a shop in Khobar....Can anyone please provide a specific "address", directions and/or other suggestion.

Backyard does not sell propane. You need to go to the propane store in Khobar. 1 block off the Khobar road at about 7th or 8th cross. You can buy a tank and then do an exchange as needed after the first purchase.

Thanks all.....got it.
It is at 6th half a block off the Cornish - just south of the Hardees.
175SR for the first full tank and 15SR for a refill. They will also take the valve/regulator off your gas line and put on a compatible one if needed - 25SR. So remember to take your existing valve if this is your fist time.

Is it advised to bring the BBQ Grill from abroad?
We have a high end InfraRed gas grill and not sure if we can/should ship it? My family loves BBQ. any advice?

LPE-II,
There are a decent range of gas grills at SACO in Dhahran Mall (including some very expensive but nice high-end Webers). But if you have a grill you really like, I would bring it. The fittings may not be compatible, but as mentioned above, you can get the propane guys to put on a new compatible fitting cheaply.
Note that the gas here is more of a propane/butane mix. I get seriously more heat output than I did on pure propane in the U.S.

FYI, there's a propane tank place not far from Ikea. They sell tanks and refill/exchange as well. Location(paste this in google maps): 26.316954, 50.157590
