I'm getting my degree attested myself, so can check this. But my marriage certificate has been attested by Aramco themselves. Relo has confirmed that attestation on marriage certificate has been complete and she handed me back the original... Said they got attestations done on a photocopy...
Is that normal? original does not have any stamps!

Yes thats normal, they have stamps on photo copy along with a letter, i have my orignal and attested photo copy both back.
Same with my degree, orginal have nothing on it, instead photocopy was attested by SA embassy and saudi cultural bureau

Thanks - my relo didn't give me or show me my attested marriage certificate. she just confirmed that the attestations on that have been done.
Just to be clear - the marriage certificate needs to be attested by Saudi Culture and by SA embassy both? or is that just for the degree?

my agent told me that marriage certificate can only be attested when you either have iqama for yourself or visa le and it only needs to be attested by Saudi Embassy. They do not attest marriage certificate without visa le of you and your family!!!

Hmmm... interesting, cause my relo has told me that attestation process on my marriage certificate is complete. And I am still waiting for my visa le.
Also - does the marriage certificate get attested from the country of issue? Mine is from Pakistan, but I'm currently in London and my relo has completed attestation process here !!! Not sure what stamps it has... but I've had confirmation that attestation process on that are done.
I would rather re-marry my wife in London than go through the process of getting another document attested from Pakistan... if only I had time to do another degree from UK....maybe there is while we wait for visa blocks ?

They got certified copies of your marriage certificate and gave you back the original.
The copy is going to be used when you get your visa le so your wife can get her visa as well and travel with you.
That's the all purpose of the marriage certificate, that and family status, don't over think it.

Hi Folks,
Can anyone share their experience of communicating with their AOC relo throughout the relocation process please. My one has almost never replied to an email query and I'm just wondering if others have experienced something similar.
I appreciate that relos may be very busy but it would help to set my expectations if I knew that most others experience the same thing.
