I was supposed to travel from Australia on the 10/July to start my position as exploration
Geologist. I had already arrived at the airport and was checked. I received a call from my family with a serious medical complication and halted my flight and returned home.
The next morning I let my recruiting agent know the situation and later asked for an 8 week
Extension on my start date due to family obligations. (I am GC 12 Single status).
I am now worried that Aramco will terminate my contract which technically started on the 10th July 2014 although I haven't left my country yet.
Can anyone advise on what I should expect?
Do you think Aramco will terminate my contract?
