Hi,
I have received my offer for a position at SA. I am now preparing all the BI and medical documents. I understand that credit file is checked as part of BI. I am slightly concerned here. I do not have adverse credit or CCJs or any outstanding payments. The only issue is that i have a large amount of credit in terms of a bank loan and credit cards. All the payments are up to date and there is no outstanding amount of any of my accounts at all. My only concern is that my large amount of credit may fail BI checks. Any advice/experience will be much appreciated please.

No one can of course answer that for sure because each individual is looked at separately and it is up to the person making those decisions. But in my opinion it will not be a problem.

A UK credit check puts most, if not all, emphasis on your repayment history not your ability to take on additional debt. It is pretty poor in this regard, but shouldn't be a problem for a situation like you describe.
