I am shipping over my Weber gas grill from the US. Does anyone know where I can purchase an adapter for it? Also, is it as simple as screwing the adapter onto the current regulator? Lastly, where can i purchase a new tank and propane for the grill?

Once you arrive you will understand this:
There is a propane shop 1 block in from the corniche road at about 7th or 8th Cross in Khobar. The propane shop will have regulators which will work with your Weber and fits the tanks here. You have to cut off the U.S. regulator and need a hose clamp to install the Saudi one. You can bring the small hose clamp with you, although years ago, they gave us the hose clamp when we bought the regulator for our Weber. But just in case they don't have one, bring a clamp. You buy your first tank then you just take it and exchange it each time you need more propane, just paying for the gas.

Our Grill comes with optional Natural Gas Conversion kit. Is there any advantage to converting the grill to Natural Gas (instead of Propane) for Compound usage? I am assuming the houses have supply of Natural gas, could the connection of natural gas be made for the grill?
It would take the possibility of exchanging the tanks every time it runs off....

LPE-II, At least on Dhahran, there is no natural gas connection to the house, and I don't think they're very common in KSA. The tanks of propane/butane that they sell here are a lot bigger than what I used in the States. My last tank lasted a year, and I barbecue often for a family of three and lots of entertaining.

I also brought my Weber girl from the U.S. There is no need to cut anything! There is a BBQ equipment store not too far from Rakkah, where you can buy U.S. propane tank. www.backyardme.com/For refill, you can bring empty U.S. style tanks to the aforementioned propane shop in Khobar.
