1) housing will depend on availability when you arrive. Hard to predict for someone on the forum.
2) while you are on bachelor status and your child is living with your wife, you are not eligible for EAP. EAP comes with family status and wife is living in Kingdom.
3). Do not know.

hi
regarding point 1 , it is very important you should clarify your accomodation, khurais is in the middle of desert.......the nearest city is riyadh which is 2 hours drive........if u live on site camp then it is I believe bachelor only........ I got friend who lives in abqaiq on family status and fly to khurais do 5 days and back for weekend........
point 3: what is your job le or division (i.e in maintenance or operations.......)
Things are not what they seems from outside.......,,,,, work ethics and environment ,I cant comment......

Khurais is in between Udhailiyah and Riyadh. It's about 1.5 hours from UDH and 1.5 hours to Riyadh (depending on where you need to go in Riyadh as it can take an hour to drive across Riyadh if there's traffic). I live in UDH, and there are some families here with the husband working in Khurais during the week. Maybe some families are housed in Riyadh as well, or where ever there is housing available at the time.

Thanks Vpainter I have few more questions regarding repat allowance. My work sheet calculation is based on the family status (family of 4) but I would like to join as a bachelor status what would be the difference in repat allowance in following scenarios. A) I live with wife in kingdom on family status and boys in Australia: My understanding is repat for two adults + EAP travel allowance for boys. B) I am on bachelor status and family back in OZ: My understanding is three return airfare for me + EAP travel allowance for boys. Is this correct?

aberdeenuk, Could you please put some light on current scale of construction activity, number of personnel at Khurais including contractors and type of Bachelor accommodation at site as My understanding is people spend five days there irrespective of where they live.

Ags429,
Incorrect - if you are on bachelor status you are not eligible for EAP.
