Hi all, new here. Was interviewed (VCI) last Jun 24 and the recruiter called 2 days after saying it usually takes max 2 weeks to hear if i pass or not, a friend that was interviewed the same date didnt receive a call tho so im still on a positive note since i think i did well, considering the job description fits perfectly in what im doing in my current job. Tho i also read a lot of those that take a year before they got a call I saw one from a fellow from Philippines that his timeline took only 3months, but his recruiter is based in the Phil. while mine contacted me from UAE. Im a Filipina btw Anyways, trying not to get hopes so high but cant contain excitement, i started reading bout the company (WOW) and stumbled upon this very helpful site with informative forums. Most of my questions were already answered. However there are still few left 1. I read lot of infos on what awaits u when u move but they are for families. I am single and if ok, can someone help me have an idea of the things included in a single lady's accommodation? 2. The email sent to me stated that they are in need of 2 contract advisor. Does the definite number meant this position is an urgent hiring? Im thinking if it will make a difference on my recruitment timeline, or does everyone received an invitation to apply with the definite numbers of a required position as well? Hoping someone replies. *crossfinger* Thanks in advance! ~Nami

Housing is based on GC.
Your accommodation will have a refrigerator, stove with oven, dishwasher, couch and possibly a chair, coffee table, bed (pillow, blanket, sheets) bedside table, desk (you can ask for one if its not there when you arrive. Depending on the accommodation it could have table and chairs. Linens for bath and kitchen, plates, glasses, flatwear, pots and skillet (no baking pans). Basic list, maynot be complete.

o, the recruiter was right, max 2 weeks for the feedback (and it was just a week ago). Only, it is not a good one. I didn't make it But! I read in several posts that one can re-apply. 1. Can i re-apply immediately? 2. I was sent an invitation to apply on my first try. This time around, can I send my CV online thru their website? 3. I saw various post open that I might qualify, can I send my CV to say 3 different departments? Or not advisable? I am heartbroken with the news, but it is what it is and I can only hope they will keep my CV for any possible match on other position, as what they said. Y_Y

Yes, you can re-apply. Just because you were unsuccessful with one department does not mean you won't be successful with the next department. You can apply for more than one job listed, although there is a limit, at which time you will not be able to apply for any others for a period of time.
