I have some questions regarding buses, taxis, etc - not all specific to Dhahran Towers but may be helpful to others being housed there.

1. Can I reserve a car with Majestic in the Dhahran compound before I arrive?

2. I know another car hire provider that will deliver a car to me while at the main Dhahran compound.

3. Are Limousine and Private Driver services (other than Majestic) permitted to pick-up and drop-off anywhere within the Dhahran compound?

1). No, you will need your Temporary Aramco ID to lease a car from the Majestic leasing agent right outside DHA. I do not know if you could reserve on prior to arrival with a local rental car place. You could go online and try. You may have to have your iqama prior to leasing from them.

2) Yes, the rental car company could bring you the car.

3) yes, with security clearance to be admitted

We are thinking of hiring a private driver initially until we find our feet. Have tried this through Majestic without any luck so far.

Would be interested to hear from anyone with any contacts or previous experience in hiring a driver.
