Hi Everyone, I own a house in California that I will keep but leave it unoccupied. I have hired a management company to take care of it for next 9 months. Does anyone know if I qualify for the property management benefit? My sister will move in after 9 months. Any info will be appreciated. Thanks!

Reviving an old thread, is it still the case that the sales receipts from the car dealership need to be originals?

The IR manual clearly says original documents from an agency. No private sales are covered.

Hi expatinwaiting, Although originals are stated photocopies were accepted from me. As long as dealer stamp and VAT reference (for UK) are shown on sale documents and of course you have to provide a copy of your registration document as you will no longer have the original

If you need to bring copies of documents from the US, I recommend getting them notarized just to be safe.

Thanks bogiefrommuskogee and Welshman. The dealerships in my area of Texas apparently refuse to part with the originals, so having them notarize the documents may be my best bet.

To further elaborate on this thread... more for clarification...
Is it OK to close on the sale of the house prior to departure to KSA? One post said it must be AFTER start date (date of departure), but I don't see that anywhere in my docs. We hope to close prior to have cash in the bank for us when we depart as well as buy some stuff and payoff some stuff prior to us leaving.

I sold my house before leaving and had no problems getting reimbursed.
The only other stipulation that I remember is that you had to own your house before the date you accepted the offer (not the date you started working in KSA).

Good day,
Hoping someone can give me a quick and exact detail of what docs aramco needs for the home sale reimbursement benefit.
I read a hud statement, is that it? Does it need to ne wet signature? Notorized? Anything else?
We just received an offer on our home here inthe U.S. and we want to make sure we give our agent exact information for what we need her to provide us to take advantage of that benefit.
Cheers!

For my home sale reimbursement, I provided the (signed) real estate contract and a copy of the lawyer's documents showing that the deal had gone through.
I brought the original copies of everything like a good boy, but when I went to submit them they just got me to photocopy the papers and submit that. Same thing for car reimbursement - copies were all they wanted.
