Greetings, everyone!
I have not been contacted by my relocation adviser yet, so here is my question. Does it make sense to put the house on the market before my relocation adviser contacts me? Will it jeopardize parts of relocation package (as far as I understand there should be some leasing and sale of the property funds)? What is included in the relocation package and methods of calculation?
Thank you for your help in advance!

You need proof that you owned the house prior to the offer and through the start date I believe. They don't care about the listing. All you need is a property tax bill (or some other proof of it being your primary residence) and a signed HUD statement once it closes.
I know you get 2xmonthly up to 20k for the sale of a home. I think it's 1xmonthy up to 10k for a lease. Needs to be done within the first year of employment. .5xmonthly up to 5k per car also (up to 2 cars)

bluecheeze, Can you elaborate further on the car?
We will be selling our vehicle before leaving (from US), would you explain what you mean by .5x monthly? Is there a reimbursement for selling a vehicle prior to relocation?

The paperwork I have (US Payroll) says that you must own the car at least 3 months before hire date. You get 1/2 of one month's base salary (maximum of $5,000 per car, 2 car maximum). So if your base salary is $6,000/month, you would get $3,000. If your monthly base is $15,000, you would get $5,000 (the max). Private sales not eligible.
It isn't clear, but my guess is that you have to sell it after your start date. My understanding is that start day is the day you board the plane.
Same with selling your home. Except you get 2 months of base salary (maximum $20,000).

Correction. According to the Relocation Guide for Global Payroll, you must have owned or leased it for a minimum of 3 months prior to your offer acceptance at Saudi Aramco.

Sell your car after final clearance and before you leave (or after if you want). We sold both of ours before flying out. Save a copy of the current registration as well as the sale reciept. Must be sold to a dealer (we used carmax) no private sales.
Previous explanation was correct. 10k base per month gets you the max benefit of 5k per car.

fsaeed81,
It isn't part of the offer package. It was given to me by my R.A. (relocation advisor). It is called the General Policy Changes Information Pack. I have not attended my Orientation yet, so I suspect more information will be available then.

Chrismater2000,
From what I see in my documents, if you own a property, there is financial assistance with either selling your home or leasing it through an agency. If you have a rented property, there isn't any financial assistance, but someone, please confirm.
One issue that may occur is what happens if someone is under a contract on their rental agreement - I would suggest bringing that up with your R.A.

Has anyone leased their house and received the compensation I am planning to lease my house (located in TX). The offer mentions that I will get some 1 x monthly salary back up to 10 K for leasing the property Question - what documentation will I need to show to get compensation??
Thanks in advance

I have a similar question but relating to vehicle. I see you can sell your vehicle to a dealership and receive compensation. I have a motorcycle which I will be selling. Originally I wanted to sell it to a private party. If the compensation works out I will sell it to a dealership. Does anyone have experience with this? I would hate to sell it and find out there was some required document I didn't get from the dealership.
Thanks.

You need to bring an original of the lease agreement with the property management company.
I gave them that and got the 10k paid.
Cheers

Thanks for everybody's contribution to this forum. I have a relevant question. I own a house which is on a rent lease. But for some reasons I am living in a rental building. Do I qualify for this house disposition compensation. This status exists before I accepted offer.
